Dusseldorf. July 15

This morning we took the train to Dusseldorf, and got ourselves some pretzels to eat on the way. PRETZELS 4EVA!

SO TASTY

When we got into the city, we walked in the direction of old town and had a wander through a cool little market full of tasty food and flowers. We didn’t buy tasty food because it was not time to eat, and we do have some ability to control ourselves.
After this we walked further towards the old town, and walked along the Rhine river boulevard. On the other side of the river there was a strange looking theme park in the middle of an industrial area which looked super weird and lonely.

Why there? So weird.

On our walk we wandered the old town and went into some chapels, and later Elise went into Kunst Sammlung Nordrhein Westfalen took see the exhibition they had on and the collection upstairs (which she practically had to herself!).
Ash enjoyed some sales, getting herself a bargain buy which she’d been wanting since Morocco, YAS.

Being a bird. : >

We met up again after this and went and got some super tasty burgers in a busier part of town, and had a wander through the shopping streets. We passed back over the canal in the direction of the train station, had walked up the fancy shmancey shopping street and into a shopping centre to find a supermarket to buy dinner makings. When we got out, the streets were full of water and we had perfectly missed a super heavy downpour! Good one us!

For this photo a man stopped his fancy car. WOW. SO KIND.

Finally with our tasty treats and dinner makings, we took the train back home for a night in.

Love A&E
