Vienna. August 13

So as we had arrived in Vienna during its hottest week since records began, we didn’t brave the outside world until late afternoon. We met Miranda at a café so that we could all experience Viennese iced coffee and sachertorte, which were both delish. After spending a while there chatting, we headed in toward the city centre enjoying the beautiful evening light.
We explored the city streets for a while, as every building was grand and impressive and then decided to go have a look at the river.
We spent the evening wandering the city and at 10pm we were still sitting outside the Vienna Opera having chats. Eventually we decided we should go home and walked with Miranda for a while, before leaving her to get our train home.
