Eddie left straight away in the morning and we quickly packed up and were rushed out the door without even having brushed our teeth by the airbnb host who was very prompt (should have known, we are in Germany).
When we made it to Berlin HBF we had a coffee and then brushed our teeth (don’t fret, lots of people do this okay?). We waited a while before we could take our train, and while we did the masses of people/backpackers, piled up around us. THANKFULLY, we reserved seats for the journey, as many backpackers filled the aisles outside or cabin, having to squish and move every time someone came past. Oh and by the way, the journey is over 5 hours long. But also, we had our Turkish bread and dips from the market yesterday to keep us happy.
So when we eventually got to Prague, we then had to wait in a queue to get some Czeck currency out and also for Ash to help a lost old German gentleman find his train. Very kind of her, she knows.
We got the metro to our apartment, were met by the kindest host and her boyfriend who greeted us at the door. Our apartment is super lovely, everything is clean and fresh and nice. We even have a little decked area out the back with a table!

After settling in we left to meet with our other pal we met in Germany, Prash! We were also meeting his friend (who had been there on the night but we weirdly never saw), Ruk. To give you context, these two are very London 19 year old boyzzzz. Lads even. Maybe. We all met at the museum at the top of Wenceslas Square and then headed to a Czech cuisine restaurant and had many lulz and also Ash had her very first mulled wine. She gives it a 5/7. But it wasn’t a very good one, so we can work on this score.

After dinner we all took a night stroll through the city, past fancy stores, over a bridge and up to the metronome lookout over the city. We stayed here for a while and it was super lovely. The boys were teaching us about giving snaps (snapchat) soundtracks. We didn’t really adopt this technique.
We walked back through the city, stopping many times for long chats that apparently we couldn’t do while walking. We stopped for a long time in the main square in old town and watched the locals be very drunk and outrageous. Eventually, after another long chat outside their hostel, we said goodbye and walked home through the city.
