Ash had a Skype interview later so we had to be home for that, so relegated the rest of our exploring until tomorrow. We spent the night the way we started the day, relaxing and doing not much.

Istanbul. September 9
Today was a day of ultimate rest. After our crazy airport day and arriving late last night, we slept in then ventured out to find breakfast goods before returning for a bit. After some movie time we went back out to explore our area, finding a really good Turkish restaurant for lunch, where we had gozleme (Turkish pancakes filled with potato) and kofte (meatballs). It was so tasty and we got a tasty mystery pastry from a fancy store on the main road and some baklava from a very small shop on the way home to top it all off. We got baklava in chocolate flavour btw. Who knew this existed?! It's literally chocolate somehow melted into the pastry and sugar syrup layers. Plus the usual nuts!
