Santorini. September 6

Beach day again!
We had breakfast at a café on our walk to the beach, which was big and delicious. We walked a fair way up the road that follows the beach and ended up at the other end of town, paying for our sunbeds and umbrella and settling down on our beds.
We also had wi-fi there which was ridiculous but also fun because we could send snaps showing off the black volcanic sand and the clear blue water. Heh heh heh.

So we did another day of alternating between swimming/floating and laying/reading. Super relaxing. The only stress of the day was the part where you had to go bare feet between water and beds, because black sand on a sunny day is like walking along the pits of hell.
We were at the beach until the end of the day and didn’t leave until dusk was coming. We went for dinner at a pizza restaurant with a lovely man who owned it, chatting to us about his time in Australia.
We went back to our little rooftop room and collapsed there with our very full bellies.

Love A&E
