Santorini. September 7

Today we decided to explore more of the island, firstly heading back to the main town, Fira, and then later to the beautiful, and most well known town of Oia.

Fira is mainly a restaurant and shopping town so we didn't do much apart from wander the streets and visit a really nice church. But the town is still super beautiful and was a great start to our day.

Volcano!

Electricity though <3

After spending some time here we got on a bus to go to Oia, the most picturesque town ever. We literally spent the better part of the afternoon and evening wondering the town taking heaps and heaps of photos, getting icecream, overpriced milkshakes and food, and camping out at the most amazing view point ever for the sunset. We found the three blue domes and are therefore winners forever (see below). While we were sitting, staking out our spot, we assisted in (and spied on) many photo ops/shoots, which as you know, has become a favourite past time of ours.

Tapped by other tourists and begging for help and Elise just lolling.

We caught the bus back, much later, to Fira then to Perissa and got some takeaway gyros on the way home and then spent the night packing for the early start tomorrow.

Love,
