Arriving in Pamukkale we booked our next bus ride, an overnight one to Cappadocia. We then went in search of our hotel. Our room was really nice and the family that own it and work there are pretty lovely.
We went in search of lunch and found this popular Japanese/Asian restaurant. Just so you know, Pamukkale is super popular with Asian tourists, especially with the Chinese. We had to wait about an hour for lunch but we didn't mind, we were in no rush. And it was so tasty so it didn't matter at all. After eating we went to the park just below the giant calcium hills of Pamukkale and sat for a bit taking it all in. It's pretty spectacular and so surreal. The pond in the park is full of the natural waters that run off the hill and had a bluey grey tinge to it. We also made some new duck friends, saving one from a vicious attack. Also, we saw another wedding, classic us, this time it was just photos but the bride was doing so well not to pass out in her huge gown, it was so hot not wearing kilos of material.
This is Ducky <3 |
After spending considerable time there we went back to hotel and sat on their terrace, where we drank tea as we watched the sun set over the huge hill. We then had a delish dinner made for us on the terrace and spent some time up there just relaxing before it got chilly and bed was calling.
Love A&E
