Today we actually had an early start, go us. We planned to go to Burano, another island near Venice, which you get to by a larger Vaporetto. So we went to breakfast, classic bread basket again, then headed to the Vaporetto stop. The journey to Burano was so nice, seeing all the little islands along the way as well as other larger ones like Murano. Arriving in Burano we wandered the island, full of colourful houses. We also got gelato, which matched the buildings. Several hundred photos later we went for lunch, and then after managed to time it perfectly to catch the Vaporetto back to Venice.

Back in Venice we walked around, towards Doges palace, sadly Doge wasn't home, too busy making memes we guess. We also got to see a few more Biennale exhibits, which included the Philippines where there was a really cool video room, where you controlled the sounds and visuals that played through walking in different areas of the room. The artist is Orly Aviv and the work is 'Nervous Organ' and maybe they weren't from the Philippines but it was in their building so wedunno.

Ash + golden cats = dreamzz |
On our way back towards our place we found INCREDIBLE tiramisu, from this little shop which only sold tiramisu in many varieties. We got the classic, and enjoyed it thoroughly. While we ate we watched the team who worked there make more behind the glass and they were very jolly and it was a dream. We also picked up some Tri coloured biscotti and prosecco (slash juice) for a picnic by the canals. Just before the storm hit we got a slice each of pizza and ate on our way home, on our last night in Venice. It was a dream.
